Paul J Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Soleman says "where the Teliflex steering joins on to the outboard ,the coupling that it has keeps coming off ,making steering to say the least very dangerous." britboard Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Its a ball and socket joint with a spring loaded retainer, i've used those on the rudders on various hovercraft that i've made and never had a problem with them pre-releasing. Make sure that everything is free with the sliding collar and its well seated and you should be good! If it fails again you should be able to pick one up from any good chandlers (not very expensive).
