Who's tempted by the comp on Sunday?

The weather window is looking quite promising and I am half thinking, would I get out to a wreck smile.gif

Anyone want to crew or is anyone looking for crew.

If we go for the comp then I could do with someone who knows something about flounder fishing rolleyes.gif

Sounds good to me Gordon. I'm game for inshore if windy, or offshore if smooth.

Have upgraded to a TLD15 with braid, and an Uglystik 30lb class, hoping for a stab at something substantial!

Is there room for George too?

Gordon,

Would love to join you, but I could never meet your acceptance criteria.

I have an exceptional knowledge of where not and how not to catch flounders, in fact my ineptness is almost breathtaking as Alun J will confirm.

I'm going to fish it anyway providing I can get crew; however, my crew requirements are exactly the same as yours.

Hi Guys

Tight lines on Sunday

Coddy, Dan would love to crew for you thanks for the offer

if you read this before the PM, give me a call

I may try and get to the weigh in but it depends on the work on the boat.

Martin have you got the small scales?

I'm fishing!!

Was meant to be with the big gay badger, but from his above post it seems he is working - so, can be crew or can crew....

If I take BW, and it's floundering I can take 2...

Ditto me !

Not sure of my fishing arrangements yet........ other than I will be fishing.

Happy to crew or be crewed!

Can I get some juicy worms?? Sat's tide doesn't look set to go out far , but rising atmospheric pressure may help.

Omens don't look good........ small tide......ebbing for much of the fishing time; but should be nice weather, if a bit chilly.

I'm planning to get out as the weather looks the best for some time. However Phaeton has apparatly suffered further damage from the winds last week in additon to the previous Sat night's minor dings with the mid cleat and the boat having parted company...........this may be an easy repair; it may not! Mid cleats are like that! So down Sat to fix it and fishing Sunday if the weathe's good. Frankly I think I would rather not catch cod than not catch flounders so looking to head out somewhere - probably the car park........unless I pick up better info in the bar on Sat evening!

Still as I am currently sat in Edinburgh anything's possible!
