Adam F Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Newboy - where did you do it, and how much? I havent done one yet - really must. Kicking myself for not doing the club one! Adam Quote
Swainiac Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 Guys............it may be an idea to think about getting a test together for the chaps in the club who are licenceless. How long does the licence run for??? Regards Rich Quote
Newboy Posted May 12, 2004 Author Report Posted May 12, 2004 The short range radio ... something something ... licence runs forever and it costs Quote
Adam F Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 The club has already run a VHF course last year - it was very popular from memory. I couldnt make it though. If anyone is interested - let me know, as I need to do it. BTW: East Dorset Council learning leaflet thingy came through the post this morning. I had a little browse, and noticed that I can book to do my VHF licence through here and it only costs Quote
Maverick Martin Posted May 12, 2004 Report Posted May 12, 2004 Adam That is a very good price but it will probably be the cours and test only, you would have to purchase your licence after you completed the course. I would jump at it if I were you it doesnt come cheaper than that. Martin Quote
