Adam F Posted May 19, 2004 Report Share Posted May 19, 2004 Very common method I believe around Lymington - Simply a set of feathers with a pirk or herring attached as a weight. Theory being that under the mackeral shoals will be bass lurking to hit the macky. Stick on a pirk - voila' - dying mackeral imitation, and bobs your uncle! Bob F Posted May 20, 2004 Report Share Posted May 20, 2004 Mark A had a bass on feathers last Sunday. 20 yrs ago was the last time he caught a Bass. Can you believe that!!! He was well chuffed.
