Lure Only Comp - Sun 12th

This Sunday is the club's Lure only Competition. The rules have been put together to involve as many members as possible, and with the added incentive if a quality prize donated by Orvis why not give it a bash?

 

The format is best specimen and the rules are as follows:

 

2 hooks only to be in use with the folllowing exception:

 

1.) Live or dead or indeed any natural bait is excluded.

2.) The use of multiple trebles are allowed so long as both trebles are in the same lure/plug and if they are, will count as one hook same as the pennel rule.

3.) The term lure includes lures with adidtives as long as the lure itself is artificial.

I will be fishing the comp on Court Jester with 2 members onboard

 

I would like to go off shore to a wreck or two to look for Pollack or even a cod - any one want to buddy up as I have no idea which wrecks are productive.

 

I am based in Poole - so another Poole boat would be useful !
