Still looking for crew for the Cod Competition on the 30th or looking to crew for someone on the 30th.

It will all depend on the weather so it will be a last minute decision for Alfresco after we get over Christmas excesses.

Deal me in PD. If i can get my trailer done by then, i wouldn't mind taking you out for a trip on mine (only coz u aint been on her yet!), but if not, i'l grab a trip on Neo if Charlie hasn't already.

I'm fishing Sunday as the forecast is looking good.

 

Not sorted for the comp. yet; if anyone is looking for crew [ or would like to crew on Gastronaught]........it's the trip to\from Poole that would need co-ordinating.

 

I could either come west from Christchurch and book [us?] into comp, or someone coming the other way could book us in and meet at mine or Mudeford.

 

If nothing fits......... I'll go on my own.........or take someone not bothered joining comp. .......... any takers??

Does anyone have some results (besides that amazing bass!), I was bed ridden with an horrible spate of man flu. Never knew I had places that could ach like that!

Congratulations to Vernon Allen for winning the Cod Competition.

 

Vernon is a club member - although an almost invisible one - possibly due to current work commitments.

 

Anyway, my "cunning plan" for the cod comp failed miserably by choosing to fish from my own boat this year, instead of fishing with Vernon and his mates on a charter boat..............Beowulf - which went down to a spot midway between Christchurch ledge and the Needles
