great white
Well done Dave, If I had known last Sunday was your last trip I would have taken a few pictures when we saw you on the patch. Here is one from a few seasons ago for you Sad to see them go but if they lead to bigger /better the sadness goes fast Happy hunting Charlie
Coddy
Well done mate - great news! Dont keep us guessing.... whats the new steed? Well not too sure yet I can't afford such dreams as yours as I have limited funds for fishing. (the FPO has TOLD me that already) I like the Colvic Seaworker but I don't think I could put up with the slow 10-12kts max! I have an eye on a couple to other boats but yet to have sea trials, downside is they are a fair distance away so moving it back to Poole adds more costs. If anyone hears of a 20 - 25ft max fast boat going cheap please let me know! Coddy
gaffa
Dave, May not be that fast but seems a lot of boat for the money. http://poole.boatshed.com/seastar_sportfis...boat-41563.html Ok so I'm biased it's a lot like mine Peteg
Adam F
Good stuff Dave best of luck with the hunt. If you find one and it's a way away - its worth a post here, there may just be a way of getting her back at minimal cost using the PBSBAC network.... Coddy
Good point Adam, should of thought of that. Seen a boat in Scarbrough but need to transport it back to Poole. My fishing buddy Bill said he can tow, has a L200 so no problems there, just need a trailer that will take about 2 to 2.5tons to borrow/rent Unless someone knows someone who can collect and deliver boats? Wedger
No probs with the tow. I can drag 3.5 tons with my landy. Otters trailer is OK but would prefer something better.
Adam F
Unless someone knows someone who can collect and deliver boats? http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/SCB091 Or, hire a trailer and enlist one of the offers of help to tow her? great white
Plenty of contacts for boat transporters at work if you need them Dave But they are not cheap Hard to hire a decent trailer nowadays but some transport companies can use van and trailer to keep prices down, Charlie
