Adam F
Being new to Poole harbour - where do you guys fill up with diesel and what are you currently paying? Also - where, how and how much are the harbour dues for 2009 (another new thing to us!) Adam
great white
Hi Adam I tend to Fuel up at work. Due to the low demand at this time of year and most boats filling up prior to Nov 1 we are still on last delivery prices 70p plus the extra 43p for propulsion fuel. 60/40 split at about 95p from memory. [Cheaper at shell for rd diesel] but other places with more turn over should beat that. As to the harbour dues you should get them through Parkstone Bay Marina if you are staying there in the summer, I will check prices when at work if you can not get it from them. duncan
account with Corrals for fuel - gives 24 hr fuel access harbour dues as advised but not all places include them as part of the 'fees' - crown estate fees will be included with any berth though. upton oil has always seemed very expensive to me
Coddy
account with Corrals for fuel - gives 24 hr fuel access I have been trying to open an account with Corrals for 9 months now! I have completed two forms and supplied confirmation of my home address and still not heard anything!! There customer service leaves a lot to be desired and it seems there is only one person who deals with accounts, she is often on holiday. Emails and phone calls all seem to be ignored. Is it me? Maverick Martin
I have an account with Corrals for fuel, average prices but with 24-hour access Coddy its not just you they are terribly slow at all office works except for billing Just persevere and phone every other day, that
fisherman1055
I use Corrals as well as they are 24 hour. They did take some chasing to get the acount set up and I spoke to their office 3 times before the card arrived. I got my latest bill and they are charging 94p per litre on the 60/40 split Tony
Adam F
I got my latest bill and they are charging 94p per litre on the 60/40 split Really? That is the same price as Salterns in that case - I thought Corals were meant to be cheaper? I got a PM this morning says Corals were 64p??
