Reel Spares or Technician?

Ive got a very sad / poorly Diawa that has been sat here for about 2 years. I finally dragged it out this evening and checked the parts of against the schematic only to find that I need 29 spare parts.

1 - Anyone advise where to get them?

2 - I'd rather just sent it away to be fixed - any ideas?

3 - Am I best just to chuck it and buy new - given that a new one is about 70 quid?

Adam,

I have found Daiwa very good on the spares front. A couple of years ago I had a Dawia fixed spool beach reel which had a problem with the cam that sits on the main cog. I called them but it was 8 years old and not a current model! Having then worked out the part number they searched and the same part was used in a current model! Bingo - reel fixed for about
