Adam F
Has anyone got one of the small mobile text printers that do little vinyl stickers? I'm looking for my MMSI and Call Sign to be printed off? Thanks Adam
Rob
Adam, If you have the vinyl I can cut it on laser machine. As you know I don't need much of an excuse to have a tinker at work!!! Rob Edited February 5, 2009 by rob francis
Adam F
I dont rob, and TBH it only need to be tiny text - probably font size 20. Surely you must have a label printer up there in your office of wonder!!
Neal
Can of worms..................... I got a little sticker with the RNLI sea safety check - on which to write the MMSI Number and call sign. Have you had one yet Adam? Actually it was the previous owner.......together with stickers locating Flares, Lifejackets and First Aid Kit Don't know if they still do it? It may have also been with the RNLI Safety book with DVD Neal
Adam F
Thanks Neal, I know what you mean as I had one when OOTB had a Sea Check. I personally thought the stickers a good idea and had them on OOTB, but I wanted something a little better than a hand written one for JV. I havent had a check yet as I know the kit isnt up to scratch. Will I have one? Probably, but as the risk of sticking my neck out, I have the checklist here from last time so I can see what I need - will a new check really help me? Anyway - back on subject, do you have a text printer? Edited February 5, 2009 by Adam F

Rob
Adam, you can get waterproof sticky backed A4 polyester paper that you put through a laser printer. That should do the job. great white
Hi Adam One of the lads here at work has his own He did several labels for me, black letters white background. MMSI NO Ships callsign Labels for the lockers Gas shut off Fuel shut off Lifejackets Flares I used the RNLI ones as patterns and got Mark to make more permenent ones. I paid him a little to replace tape used. If thats what you want, list what wording you want and sizes and I will ask him to quote. I could take a picture if you want more detail.
