Barney
Took a trip to Mudeford quay on my way home from work tonight. Low water springs at 1700. It was really useful to see the channel out through the run. The bouys are still in the channel. I have been hugging the bouys but on the west side, Having seen it tonight it looks like east of the bouys would be better. Does any one know how shallow it gets on low water springs further out. It was well worth a look if you planning to go out. I did take some photos on my phone but i am struggling to resize them. Mick B
Les L.
channel out has been shifting slightly this year after each winter storm, currently you need to hug buoys leaving them to starboard as you exit channel this year is at its shallowest between last and penultimate buoys.Believe you have a warrior 165, if you coming in on an ebbing spring you should come in at least 2hrs before low water, 2 1/2 better if theres high pressure and/or a northerly
