Probably just a 3 dayer this time, and no wrecking, just straight over for the bass / flats and then straight back. For my diary, I'm looking at early July, either the first or second weekend. Anyone else fancy buddying up? JV will probably have Bob and Alun onboard.... Bob's keen to see the white hedgehogs..... Quote

duncan Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 I tend to go when things like tides, weather and 'the urge' all fall into place... planning these things in advance is vastly overrated - keep the boat fueled and shipshape to see more days like this overr there ........ the fish will be there for a few months yet (although maybe not in the numbers we saw this trip) bass become a pest from July! overall we were very very lucky with the weather and conditions for the 4 days... Plan A would be to leave early to make the most of the day and steam straight over, fish Sat and then return Sunday. I'll start a list to get an idea of who wants to come.
