Adam F Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Comp Postponed again. NNE 5-6 is the forecast. Next weekend is the flounder comp, so I guess the next logical option is to move it to the 27th and double up with the Poole Sea Angling Center cod comp? Quote
Maverick Martin Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 I'm gettting well peed off with this weather, I can feel a depression coming in and it ain't anything to do with isobars Andy at PSA actually asked if there was a possibility of us holding our comp on the same day as his, would work well I think Martin Quote
Coddy Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Hi Adam Good call as was out today and got as far as the spoils and turned around and came back in, too lumpy for me! Dave Quote
Fugazi Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 If these postponements continue much more it will turn into a summer Cod Comp Gordon H Quote

Rough becoming moderate. Squally showers then fair. Good. Outlook: West 3 or 4, becoming variable for a time, then east or southeast 4 or 5 later. Slight or moderate. Fair. Good. Dave Quote

alun j. Posted December 27, 2009 Author Report Posted December 27, 2009 HO......HO........HO !!! Will this comp get fished?? Sensible to postpone , again, today .......... I'll be trying tomorrow! Alun. Quote
Adam F Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 So sorry for the lack of info on this guys, not been online for 3 or 4 days. Basically the Poole Cod Comp dictated whether our would get fished - as they postponed, so will we. I guess it also makes sense to continue to support there comp and move ours to the 10th Jan too. A good call I think, it's blowing hard here today! Seasons greetings! Quote
Paul D Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Long range forecast not looking too clever for the 10th Jan either at the moment. Still there are a few days yet, so hopefully will change for the better. Quote
