Wedger Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) An all round day but with cod firmly in mind Down the harbour at first light to meet a welcoming flat sea, so a quick transit to a spot a bit further off today. We settled in to fish the last of the flood, myself keeping a variety of tactics on the go with one whiting rig and two for cod, on up & one down. Rupert being the sorta focussed fellow he is, concentrated solely on larger baits for the cod. Lesson one ..after the first two exploding, boggle eyed flobber Edited January 25, 2010 by Wedger Quote
great white Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Great report Trev We really miss Ruperts no nonsense approach. Great to fish that balanced gear, but I think that sometimes we struggle to get the hooks to set in properly with it, and when the eels want to go its hard to stop them. But isn't it fun Looks like you had a great day well done mate Charlie Quote
