    The last time I went out they forgot to change the the lights when I pointed it out they still waited at least ten mins to change them but if you go under on all red they would be on you like a shot mark

    It might be interesting leaving the twin sails bridge up in the forecast wind in the next few days. I seem to recall they used to stop operating at about 40 knots due to the risk of damage while it was raised.

    Everyone must know that we should have gone for a higher bridge that ; 1. Does not open/close 2. Does not therefore fail open or closed, bringing traffic to a stop. 3 Does not cost a fortune in maintenance over its lifetime 4 Does not need a team of 32 people and a dedicated VHF channel just to get it opening and closing to schedule.
