went voodoo fishing yesterday.........oops I forgot my life jacket!

Sad I know but have just been going back as far as the forum allows to read old posts in a number of topics. Seems we were all keen to get out but had weather issues, safety was discussed a lot as were any incidents that occurred at sea around the uk and local, catches and loads of chat Some posts went back to 2003 and many forum names popped up that I had forgotten Time for a coffee I think

If you zoom into the shallows there are loads of small mullet. Absolutely flat out there this morning but at least the fish are having a rest from us lot! Before anyone shoots me down, the photo was taken responsibly whilst out in my local area for my daily quota of exercise, wearing gloves etc etc

There was a Christmas Vid on our internal network. A couple of the lads suggested I did one too which I did - - very quickly. Then it turned out there had been an unofficial Christmas video comp ! ! ! So I thought " Right you devils " and spent Hours doing this. It could have been better but I'm quite pleased with the results. Charlie will appreciate the work that went into it.

The outboard Jerry?.....I was using it for bait.

At an old people's home, it was time for the star of the show, Claude the Hypnotist! Claude explained that he was going to put the whole audience into a trance. "Yes, each and every one of you and all at the same time" The chatter dropped to silence as Claude carefully withdrew, from his waistcoat pocket, a beautiful antique gold pocket watch and chain. "I want you to keep your eyes on my watch" said Claude, holding the watch high for all to see. "It's a very special and valuable watch that has been in my family for six generations" He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting,"Watch the watch...watch the watch...watch the watch" The audience became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth. The lights were twinkling as they were reflected from its gleaming surfaces. A hundred and fifty pairs of eyes followed the movements of the gently swaying watch. They were all hypnotized, then, suddenly, the chain broke!!! The beautiful watch fell to the stage and burst into a hundred pieces on impact. "SH#T," shouted Claude.
