Like others, I put a 5 litres or so of petrol in once before realising, I filled it up with diesel then just ran the car, I could feel the difference but it ran ok, did another diesel top up later. Car ran fine afterwards. Half a tank is a bit much. If I was you I would buy a siphon and some plastic tanks to drain the lot in. What you can't get out won't be a problem. You then have some cans of diesel/ petrol mix.

Or a windscreen washer motor.

How far did you drive it? I was lucky, I drove less than a mile before I realised.

If you have a fuel pump laying around you can use it to siphon the fuel out without drinking it.

I think you can take it to the household recycling centre or have lots of BBQ😂. Petrol is lighter than diesel so it should be on top when siphoning off leaving diesel on the bottom. Once you removed enough petrol, you can just top it up with diesel and keep it top up until you get rid of all the spoiled fuel.

Have to say I did this many years ago in an aged Renault estate, stopped at £20, got the engine going and drove it out, topping up with diesel every day. I think I was lucky. Terry.

I’ve done this and actually drove the car, I was advised to get as much diesel into the tank as possible and keep filling it up as the level drops, never had a problem and that car has now gone 450,000km, petrol into diesel is not good however !!

Went out to the Black bream mark in the fabulous early conditions. Didn’t find any but did get some dogs and 2 personal best Rays Undulate at 16lb and Spotty at 4.75. Question. My scale does pounds but to me it looks like it then does percentages of lbs? The undulate bounced from 15.98 to 16.28 lbs. The spotted from 4.75 to just under 5 Will be adding the weights to catch reports once you chaps clarify Cheer

No, at Kimmeridge. Go past Old Harry then past Peveril continue past St Albans. Probably better to go with another Club Boat who knows the tides and likely effect of weather conditions as some of the Headlands can really rough up. I have had to turn back or leave early due to inaccurate forecasts. If you go there, it is about 12 miles from the Shambles Buoy. Go a short distance past St Albans and before Kimmeridge. If you go just past Kimmeridge you need to be aware of the Firing Range and the times when they operate. You can phone or contact them at Range Control on Ch 16 or 10.

Mark, our club is run almost totally on honesty. ie: if you say you caught a fish you did catch a fish. If you are unsure of a fishes id then do post a photo and the members will help you out on the id of your catch. Photos would be nice in reports just to spice things up a bit. There are no large prizes to win so anyone who (shall we say) exaggerates their catches is only fooling themselves. The only comps we run that require a weigh in is (I believe) our Christmas flounder comp and that is a purely social event which again only offers a small hamper plus other bits and bobs as prizes. When we used to run an annual open comp which was a little different as there were high value prizes which may have been tempting for some. Also non club members could enter so in this comp we were shall we say a little more careful on fairness
