Dave Evans 10lb bass

We had an extra crew member as Kev joined us on Sunday. We found jumbo Mackerel and school Bass from the off, Kev kept catching too many Bass when we wanted bait!!! just out of East Looe channel. We found Fisheagle and crew catching live baits and moved on after we added a few. Slow start things got going last two hours of the flood we had four over 6lbs best coming to me 6-8 and J2 had one 6-3. Beautiful day and on the way home more jumbo Mackerel and some Plaice and Dabs with two nice keeper Plaice. Stunning day with lots of Bass but no monsters, the Mackerel were really welcome.

Alun and I had a very similar day to the others, lots of bass but nothing big. Made an early start to catch the tide before Christchurch Harbour completely emptied. Some jumbo mackerel put in a welcome appearance. The best bass 3lb 9oz to Steve. Great day to be out on the water.

Very similar day to Mal, lots of bird activity with the surface bubbling with baitfish and Bass, but, unfortunately could not temp anything on board lager than a 1lb 7 Once Bass to me !!!

Trevor 4lb 110z. We also had lot of Bass many 4lb mark but no big ones. We had an early start and found plenty of shoals of bait fish. There was an eruption behind the boat of bass, mackerel, horse mackerel and pollack. The birds had sensed it was going to happen before we did. Beautiful day out and very enjoyable.

Change of plan for Fisheagle. Fishing with Mike Hall and Frank Morris on Sunday. Hoping to do some general fishing but will probably also try for a Bass. Jan Tryska has asked me to post that he will also will also be entering the Comp. on Holy Mackerel with a non member on Sunday.
