  1. Pleased to report there was a good turnout of recreational anglers for the meeting including plenty of PBSBAC members. It was a more or less structured listening session, we talked about issues and what we wanted to see happen and they listened and made notes. The government does appear to genuinely want to take input from recreational anglers before setting out policy. Whether this translates into legislation that improves fisheries for recreational anglers remains to be seen... I'm sure Allan will have more to say on this meeting in the March meeting.

  2. Take care rounding Hurst too close to the castle you could come a cropper! See link for more details, seems like it is on the move on a daily basis. I've seen it myself, anyone who knows this area will be familiar with the massive depth changes, now includes above the tide line! https://www.advertiserandtimes.co.uk/news/warning-for-sailors-as-new-island-revealed-9300784/

    Routing new cables - Help

When you pull new cable through tie on an extra bit of cord or cable so that you have a draw through in case you need to get more through at a later date .

Seen on the rocks in Totland Bay. No idea how it got there, judging from rocks it must be pretty beat up!
