I run cables every day and have tried most things. By far the best Ive found is a strong spring called "spirado". Its about 6-8mm diameter and comes in 10-20 & 40 met lengths. It will get through anything and will twist round bends etc. If you need to borrow one you are welcome.

Pleased to report there was a good turnout of recreational anglers for the meeting including plenty of PBSBAC members. It was a more or less structured listening session, we talked about issues and what we wanted to see happen and they listened and made notes. The government does appear to genuinely want to take input from recreational anglers before setting out policy. Whether this translates into legislation that improves fisheries for recreational anglers remains to be seen... I'm sure Allan will have more to say on this meeting in the March meeting.
