The swash and inshore were unfishable earlier yesterday so I pushed out to deeper water for some bassing until the wind died down. It did, and became very pleasant had a few nice bass then came in and tried for some bream, showing but the LSDs and smoothounds only coming to the boat. Got fed up with loosing tackle so went plaice fishing in the swash, had a few small ones but the weed as Charlie said was like bringing in a washing line! Defo fish bite least when the wind is in the east. 🫣 Still nice to be out and not at work. 🤷

Turbot time for Graham on the Shambles

Thanks Mal Wendy and I were out yesterday and there was a lot of big swells about. We had a few female bream tucked in close and a few plaice. But the swells changed out plans and weed in the swash was a pain when flatty fishing

Yes Mal and Jerry, safety first as disappointing as it is for people that have made plans. I couldn't make it but possibly can on the new date 👍

It is with a heavy heart both Jerry and myself feel the coming weekend forecast is not favourable for small boats exiting the swash, Chris has been out today on a smaller wind forecast and said it was very lumpy. Watch for a new date asap.
