  1. Well done Fred great result for your efforts, sounds like plenty of fun too. More to come I suspect.
  2. Best wishes to you all no doubt all celebrating now, if not Y NOT!
  3. That price must include the spare outboard for the inconvenience, they have just forget to tell you!!! That price is worth fighting for and an answer that explains why! Good luck and kick a---!!
  4. Best wishes Stuie, hope you have a great day and enjoy a drop of the red stuff too!
  5. There was also a cuttlefish fish caught that managed to give Roger a free shower of water when he looked over the side of the boat, lucky no ink with that squirt! We didn't laugh, well not too much. .
  6. Roger the report is a very accurate list of events the only thing that may be challenged is the "swift trip back to Cobbs", the speed limit lifted in the harbour has very little impact for me!! ;( Great day out and thanks for the company and endless banter.
  7. Kingfisher, Chris W, Mal T, weather permitting ( Or cancellation)
  8. All sounds a bit fishy to me!!
  9. Be careful Jim the guys launched from the West Country not Cobbs!! You would need to turn right out of your gate not left! ;)
  10. Great report Rob and well done to you both on the success of the trip. Big fish too for your effort.
  11. Out of interest have the hook ups been in the same area or all around the bay?
  12. That's a very useful read for any boat owner, plenty of good tips and well laid out.
  13. Sorry guys not to over write the thread, myself and Blake went out this morning and came in at 3.30 had a great day lots of rays, big Wrasse, Gurnard but no spotties. Swash was flat calm until 1 then a stiff breeze built through the afternoon but fishable, worst conditions was the last drift at stakes!! Interesting caught a couple with the same markings as last weekend, they must be getting used to being caught now. Avets used all day if that helps?
  14. Have a great day both, they come round fast now!!
  15. Thanks for organising Rob a great comp for the kids, and the weather played ball for each comp. Blake managed to catch the same 14lb 8oz Undulate Ray twice in twenty minutes, when weighed it was suspicious two of the same weight, when we checked the photos it was the same fish. Having trouble loading photos but will keep trying! ;( Cheers for adding photos Martin.
  16. Don't forget to send your photos into the Undulate Ray survey there should be a lot of information available from the comp. Billy@undulateray.uk
  17. Kingfisher Chris W Two small blonde rays, too small to weigh Mal T SER. 5lb 2oz Undulate Ray 9lb 14oz Very slow day out on the deeper banks, Mal got a nice Bass as a bonus and a few tope.We stopped on the way in and Mal managed three undulates in the 30 mins. Great day to be out weatherwise and frustrating that the bites were so slow all day. Well done Stuie on what you had yesterday great effort.
  18. Kingfisher - Chris W, Mal "the Ray" Thomas. . Keeping it simple fishing in Poole Bay! Looking like Saturday but may change due to weather.
  19. Have a good one Allan, I bet a species book was on the list!! Enjoy
  20. Hi, welcome, join in and enjoy, we are here to share and help out and keep everyone safe in what we enjoy doing! It also gives us an excuse to disappear for the day finish of with a pint if you get it right!!
  21. Hope you've had a good one Dave, maybe a nice meal and a glass of something later?
  22. Cheers guys been rewarded by having to work in Birmingham this week and no chance of dipping a line!!
  23. And I got a b----king for over cooking the bacon because I was playing a fish which turned into a compliment once bacon babs were served!! Now all babs have to be crispy bacon!!
  24. Kingfisher - Leanne and Blake W - Monday
