  1. There is something wrong with that Doombar, I've never seen a pint stay in a glass that long!! Just got in from work and could do with one to help me sleep!!! 👍👍
  2. Happy Birthday Neal have a good one. Clever of Jim to get candles with stripes on, add up all the stripes somewhere near right!!! Big cake required next year!!
  3. That's handy Martin next time we go out you can drive!!!! ;) ;)
  4. Very sad news, Gill has been battling illness for a long time. RIP Gill.
  5. No problem Jerry that's what why we are in the club glad to help. Myself and Blake had a good run on the first mark with a new species, conger roo's instead of eels!! Blake couldn't remember their name. ;) Had them to 30lb plus which made him jump when he looked over the side and saw them. Lost something big that straightened a hook. Moved into Swanage bay out of the tide with a run of rays of four species and doggies of course. On the way in a quick try on a new mark but lack of tide only produced doggies so anchor up at 3pm and a chat to Jerry and Jerry 2 on the way in. A bonus day that Blake handled well considering the cold, he will be coming to Norway by the time he's ten! ;)
  6. Was that taken at the last weigh in Jim? ;)

  15. That price must include the spare outboard for the inconvenience, they have just forget to tell you!!! That price is worth fighting for and an answer that explains why! Good luck and kick a---!!
  16. Best wishes Stuie, hope you have a great day and enjoy a drop of the red stuff too!
  17. There was also a cuttlefish fish caught that managed to give Roger a free shower of water when he looked over the side of the boat, lucky no ink with that squirt! We didn't laugh, well not too much. .
  18. Roger the report is a very accurate list of events the only thing that may be challenged is the "swift trip back to Cobbs", the speed limit lifted in the harbour has very little impact for me!! ;( Great day out and thanks for the company and endless banter.
  19. Kingfisher, Chris W, Mal T, weather permitting ( Or cancellation)
  20. All sounds a bit fishy to me!!
  21. Be careful Jim the guys launched from the West Country not Cobbs!! You would need to turn right out of your gate not left! ;)
  22. Great report Rob and well done to you both on the success of the trip. Big fish too for your effort.
  23. Out of interest have the hook ups been in the same area or all around the bay?
  24. That's a very useful read for any boat owner, plenty of good tips and well laid out.
  25. Sorry guys not to over write the thread, myself and Blake went out this morning and came in at 3.30 had a great day lots of rays, big Wrasse, Gurnard but no spotties. Swash was flat calm until 1 then a stiff breeze built through the afternoon but fishable, worst conditions was the last drift at stakes!! Interesting caught a couple with the same markings as last weekend, they must be getting used to being caught now. Avets used all day if that helps?
