Thanks all, Jim I was hoping to sneak past the year thing!! 😀
There was a surprise party hatched on the Solent Scene Saturday night, a great night, people I hadn't seen for a while as well as those who have kept it all a secret. 👍
Lots of beers and cake for everyone, even a curry afterwards so yesterday was a very quiet day recovering!! 🤪

Personally the one I use has a shorter warp as what I have had on occasions if there is a swell, the buoy has gone the wrong side of the bow.
What I do as I think others do too is go astern before going forward, just gives abit more space between boat and anchor rope/buoy.- 2006holmwood, fisherman1055, Jim and 2 others

Results now updated, like you say a nightmare as there is now three years worth, and that's the reason we wanted to get them all updated and presented.
It does not mean the Presentation will be three times longer than usual, we will plan a way of getting through them and getting some photos for the site and members.
On that thought have we got any members willing to take some shots throughout so we can keep going at a pace? 🤞 🤞

Dear Members,
As we have missed out on being able to hold the annual Dinner and Dance since 2020, it was felt by the committee the trophies needed to be presented.
A Dinner and Dance venue has proved very difficult to book this year, and again cancelled, so we will be presenting the Trophies at the next meeting, Tuesday 1st March 2022.
It would be great to see as many members at the meeting either to be presented your awards or supporting others.
A great venue, lots of friendly faces and hopefully the time has come we are all able to get back to what we enjoy doing, fishing and at times having a beer. (Covid rules now being relaxed)
