    Gang of 3

As expected, my mates all want to go Cod fishing now that the fever has spread. I have myself and two others who plan to squeeze onto Marineboy on Saturday - i need a bigger boat!! If anyone who has a bigger boat wants a ready made experienced crew then please give me a shout. I know this is a long shot as you are probably all booked up but you never know, this could help someone get out there PJ

    Prop advice

Im thinking of buying Marineboy a stainless prop for Christmas, any recomendations? The boat is a Boston whaler ( newport) similar to a Montauk with a 60hp Etec on the back. My original 17" prop was repitched to 16" to get the required rev range of 5500 -6000. Paul at southcoast outboards refered me to Steel developments and said a 4 blade prop would be ideal for me. From past experiences i know that getting the right prop is not a simple as it should be and im hoping to get this right the first time What do you guys think? What prop, what size, where to buy? Cheers PJ
  12. Just one for me today but it was my PB at 21lb 6oz so i was well happy. I had problems holding anchor, it kept triping which is not unusual for this spot. My boat buddy had no such problems and had 5 fish before i left him to it PJ

  20. Heres an example of RSA impact- i used to fish in this area in the 80's myself and i cant believe my beloved Calico ( kelp) Bass are almost gone http://green.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/10/24/...ced-study-says/ PJ
  21. Happy Birthday Graham PJ
  22. Ashley Bearings opposite the clubs meeting place can usually match any bearing you bring them and often at reasonable prices. PJ
  23. Bob. Why is it that you have chosen to break from the Angling trust rather than use your influence to increase the Sea angling representation in this organisation? Creating splinter groups is going back to what it used to be like under the NFSA and that did very little for us. Causing division within angling plays right into the commercials hands and weakens our position in terms of numbers PJ
