  5. I went out after work to the carpark when I got there it was quite busy so as I was late I found a spot away from the crowds. Fed the dogs with a conger and a spotted Ray interrupting them, finished off with a nice huss 11.8lb. Lovely day with calm seas and only 25minutes each way from the ferry

  9. Chris I would be interested what size and colour fiish lures you use and what method you fish them. Do you just drop n wind? Or is there a better more productive method? Much better than chasing livebaits

Welcome and ditto what the others have said
  14. Went out again today......conditions not to bad so pushed over the bay to hengistbury and drifted back.Different to yesterday with 13 small plaice but loads and loads of tub gurnard ,also a few bream of decent size.Finished up in the harbour with one more plaice lots of checkers and a garfish. I've put 4 hours on the boat this weekend and so far it's run very well
  15. All mended and first day to test her.Running on one of my spare legs and a smaller prop she goes well. I fished along the beach with great numbers of plaice 25 odd with a few keepers but when tide changed it was like somebody flicked a switch it went very slow, also had 5 bream and 8 tubs. Great to to back on the water in time to chase some cod soon
  16. All the best Peter, keep that AIS off

  19. All the best Colin hope you have a great weekend
  20. Early start but fishing was slow to start with but after a couple of changes of marks we had millions of dogs, mackerel, scad,Huss, small eyed,Thornback, spotted Ray's then Mal had something different and we both called it wrong but a PB bass for him @11.4 lb,pics taken and released.More Ray's and even more dogs then I had 2 cod biggest about 6lb both returned. The whitting are in as they were robbing our baits until I landed a decent one,but the red weed was very bad and hard work constantly clearing our baits.Mal is the cod conservation Officer as well as Safety Offficer with several dropped good fish as did I .😜 Unfortunately when we tried to come in the batteries were flat so we made slow progress on the auxiliary so Mal called the coastguard who sent the RNLI out to us and towed us in.........fantastic guys! A great day thanks Mal
