If I were you Mike I'd talk to Matt your skipper and see if he has any spaces for you before next Saturday,he is a wealth of information and a trip before.....even just a half day or evening would be a great insight into what he is about Will it still run if forecast stays the same Mike? Might even be restricted to harbour?

Neal,Dogfish Dave and friend Steve(Sharky) went out with me today to see if I could find them the cod. Left at 8 all was good until I tried getting up to cruising speed......problem back again so 35 miles at 16knts.It was fine Saturday when we done well over 100 miles but I did refuel so it has to be a supply problem,today removed tank pick up and supply pipe.....all ok....so I suspect the primer on the engine is at fault. Even with this lack of speed we plodded on......for a minute I thought I was on a Arvor 😜😜😜 It wasn't too bad as it ran smoothly otherwise I would of returned. Eventually we arrived, sport was steady with only a few fish less drifts and contented anglers.Neal was a pout King for a while,so much so it sounded like all the seagulls were squawking "NEAL" "NEAL" "NEAL" for their free meal of pout😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think the guys enjoyed their day on Wishin Too with 37 cod ,Dave and Neal didn't talk much on the way back zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Mal and my friend Chris jumped on Wishin Too at 6am with the hope of turbos after a couple of 20lbers were caught Thursday on the Shambles.It was a bit lumpy going there but with an improving forecast we knew it would be worth it later. We had Launce from the start and a few mackerel but both were patchy,baits down and then my rod goes heavy is it a turbo? or is it weed?.................................its..weed !!!😂 A bit later .......bite.... let line out .....fish on!........is it a turbot or a doggie?................................a..doggie!!! Then later still I get a bite.......fish on!.........is it a mahosive turbot or a ray?......................................a Ray!!! In the mean time we were picking up Launce ,mackerel ,weavers,a few herring and more doggies on our live Launce!!Mals fault they must of followed him from the ledge😂 I get another good bite....gave it line then wound into it......is it a mahosive turbot or Ray?.......Ray 😂😂😂 I got bored waiting to see if any turbot had been missed by the trawlers so called it......lets go wrecking pushed out some 18 more miles . My first drop touched bottom, lift...fish on😀,then it was none stop action......all cod except for one pollack,we had a good time with many times all 3 of us hooked up at the same time.Most were small so they went back and we kept a couple of better or damaged fish each,lost count of how many we had but I have to admit my rig I made for the Brighton pollack comp was awesome. Total cod ........guess @55+cod Tried a couple of tackle grave yards on the way back in and docked after refuel about 7.so a13 hour day in the office😂With great company and brilliant weather Nigel

Out today with my friend Chris(non-member)on a friendly species hunt with some 7 other boats but limited on the species and sizes that counted. I came up with a plan of bagging up on bream around Ballard then move to the patch,first part worked well but the patch was hard work and slow going. We ended up catching 32 bream to 2lb14oz ,2 in size ballon wrasse and a Garfish that counted and a Goby plus various other wrasse and undersized bream that didn't.It was a lovely day that blew up around lunchtime plus lots of annoying weed,had a half hearted attempt for a plaice but the weed killed the enthusiasm. Great days sport with just 3 bream retained as deeply hooked and joint first with my friend Nick. Only scar on the day is Wishin Too has lost power max speed was 20knts and max of 3000 revs,at first I thought it might of been a fuel supply problem but I eliminated that and then realised that I couldn't hear the turbo.Back on the pontoon I stripped it down and inspected the impeller on both sides.......all good but no visible waste gate,so I'll make some calls tomorrow to Yamaha agents and if none the wiser get Dan to have look as he has more experience with these water wallet drainers 😀

Try to get a mooring with the pontoon on your port side so you can see it from your helm(which is on the wrong side) I moved as I couldn't see the pontoon when opposite my helm, unless you intend to reverse in?
