  1. Tom if you look on beach and boat forum.......boat fishing section page 19 labelled" frustrating sunday"by me niggle youll see a sounder picture with fish ID on....its big when you consider the others are 10 to 15lb!!!!!!!!!! And in feburary

  3. Little o'me 120hp speeds really do depend on sea state on Wishin in fair conditions she will cruise at 18/20knts when flat 22/24 and wot 26/28knts. The bonus of mine is it sips fuel hence I'm always fishing. I.e approx 55/60 nm is 35litres But I to am seriously looking to upgrade but I'm not rushing into anything,I'll start looking at the high end and then probably lower my sights Nige P.s you're always welcome Graham probably out Saturday all day

While i was at weymouth my mate Terry was at anchor with two live joeys on the bottom with 1.5lb leads when both went uptide very quickly and broke both lines,he thought he was dragging anchor until he looked at his other two rods still out the back baited with rag! Another angler also using live joey had line ripped off and snapped off which at the time he had presumed was a shark Sounds to me like we should have our reels loaded to max and drags set properly and if at anchor be prepared to bouy it off,................... Or is there more chance of winning the lottery?

For the dirty hands reason I personally would not have one or use my iPad as a back up plotter, The standard horizon.......several mates have them and love them,one feature I liked is several arrows showing exact tide direction,great for setting up drifts without really having to think about it Nige

  21. Possibly the call I heard Sunday,only heard Solent coastguard side of the events and it sounded BAD then made worst by using his name Patrick. Made me go cold.Very sad news Nige
