Hi chum Poole’s got great fishing and there are plenty of species to target for the table. Before you jump straight in have a look at my post on safety and equipment Sure in the high summer you can get out with a pfd, phone , tackle and kayak as the bare minimum, but if you want to fish year round then I’d advise getting some kit together first. Always happy to chat at a club meeting and help out. Have a look through some of the old kayak threads on here. Soon be time for bass plaice and bream too Lofty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A quick question In the past dogfish Dave let me use the slip for my kayak, once or twice a year I fished Holes Bay. Is he still the main man? I wouldn’t want to get clamped or something Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To be honest Dave the biggest threat is from the SBS. They train(f*ck about) in that area a lot as the hard is the base . Lots of doughnuts out there today, in more ways than one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Lethal 40s are now called LT 40. Cost about £80 but have been used for the last 5 years and Daves only services them once. They get regular dunkings . Worth every penny. The Saltists were around £150 when I bought them . Cut the butt down to make them kayak friendly . Great rods that took over from my kenzakis that I also rate. He is flexible on the price and it is nearly Christmas. It’s either a new rod or a club wooly hat on his list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
