I met the club members in Alderney and couldn't have a warmer welcome as a non member

Our first trip on freeboys had a forecast of 2-8 and we had them all!! I caught 2 bass in Portland race with the line out horizontal and we had massive difficulty getting on the birth in Portland marina (in a westerly chesil beach offers no shelter) they should really prescribe a pill with new boats!!

Thank you to everyone who has posted on here/sent me a pm. A lot of good memories have been recalled. We are having a service at Eddington priory church on 4 April starting at 11 am if anyone wants to attend.

Sadly i have to report my Dad (Peter on here) passed away on the 15 March. As some of you know he has been ill for a while- he went down hill since Christmas and passed away in hospital with his closest family and freinds with him. There will be a service in Eddington and I'll post more details once they are finalised. I'd also like to thank all the members who made him feel so welcome on the Alderney trips they really were a highlight of his last year's and everyone who he took out on redfin he really enjoyed helping others catch a few
