Afternoon all, On my last trip out the sounder decided it didn't want to play ball I'm trying to ruel out it being either the head unit or the transducer the model I have is the FURUNO FCV 585 Does anyone in the club have one that I could remove from my boat only 2 plugs so nice and easy and try on your transducer just so I can eliminate the issue before spending ££££. any help appreciated Many thanks Ben 20220402_161046.mp4

Morning all Was good to attend the meeting last night and see new and old faces, I've got to bite the bullet and get a new cool box I've looked at the iceytek ones and not that keen on the empty weight of the box in the size I want 22kg!! Wats everyone's view on the igloo boxes as these ones seem a bit more managable. Let me know your thoughts Ben

Had the privilege of loosing my anchor at the weekend 😡😡 now got to renew rope chain and anchor .....i have 8 plat rope going through my Lewmar windlass on the boat at the moment (inherited with the boat) but have found sometimes when I'm on free fall from the bow anchor locker it has got bunched up and stops half way down also sometimes on the retrieve it bunches up and gets caught up in the locker .......so I'm going to go 3 strand my question is whats everyone using polly or nylon thers so many different views on it speaking to people today so thought I would ask the question on here ????? What I want out of it is to not bunch up in the anchor locker like the 8 plat as I don't feed it in by hand its feed in by the windlass ......whats your thoughts 🤔🤔🤔

Hi all Going to fit a hinged bow roller to the boat as the anchor keeps tripping just as it goes into the existing roller and the hinged one will stop this .....has anyone got any good makes to go for ??? Cheers Ben
