I was looking through my dads fishing scrap books yesterday, once upon a time mid 70's there was common skate caught from the needles... It's a shame we need to travel the distance and hall the fish up from the deep because of careless fishermen off the past who would kill these beautiful creatures for no reason. A seventy year old fish couldn't taste that nice.... Same to be said for the shark fishing could it not? catch, kill and discard. Why would I like to go to say I've done it.
