  15. Has anybody got a longshaft outboard for sale 40hp 50hp or 60hp For my shetland 536 as the 25hp I have seems to be a little unreliable and underpowered (ok for the harbour but not for the open sea I have a mariner 40hp short shaft that I could possibly do a deal with or I would sell at the right money to fund a new one So what have you got for sale ???
  16. As they would say in Essex .... Well Jell..... Lol Looks like great fun maybe I need a kayak aswell as a boat :/
  17. Thanks Neal It's just I was doing a boys weekend and the boys have dropped out so I'm gonna use the cash to berth at cobbs for two months, using their summer offer. I've been told we can moor anywhere we like. We looked at F pontoon earlier in the year as it's cheaper but with this summer deal it doesn't matter it's all the same price. So we are looking for as much info as possible from existing cobbs residents to where is best ????
  18. Where is best to moor in Cobbs Quay ? We are doing the two months thing as we have family coming to stay and want to try out the boat But where do we moor up ? A B C D E or F pontoon ?? Anyone reckon wheres best for a novice boat owner to park ??? And don't say at home lol
  19. Busy day today fitting fishfinder and speedo And sorting out the wiring well spaghetti junction. Also got out the gps to fit but was only able to mock up the unit. But all in all a good day. More tomorrow and the weekend then off to Cobbs Monday for a couple of months.
  20. Looks good, 10 out of 10
  21. Need to find maybe a person to swap there longshaft outboard for my SS outboard
  22. Was just looking for this man on google :0)
  23. Yes now there lies a slight problem .... I've kept my 40hp mariner off of my old boat to fit on the new one.... However the boat requires a long shaft, and yes you've guessed it, my engine is a short shaft On the plus side the man I did the deal with, has let me borrow the 25 HP which wasn't included in the sale, but was on the boat for a month while I get mine sorted(converted to LS) or source a long shaft motor of some description . So you are right Jim
