Well guys after much deliberation and thinking I decided to get rid of "My Newt" She was just to small for me as I'm such a big lad. So having seen one for sale/swap in the for sale section, I sent an email and got one back this has gone on for 4 or 5 days. The end result is I have a new boat hence big smiley face ...... :0) Just need to work out how to put the pics up lol

Jim I have to say you look quite ill, you might have to have a day off work ...... As you have jellitus and the only way to cure it is to spend 6 hrs at sea trying to catch fish :)

Oh Jim I'm so sorry I had to go into one of the best tackle shop ever, whilst enjoying the great sunshine. Finding the best chip shop buying a portion of chips, then on to Chesil to sit on the warm shingle whilst i eat my chips, and the sea laps at my toes, while you was at work I'm sure your day was better ?????

Popped to "chesil bait and tackle" today. Firstly what a shop .... Lure heaven I'd say. Very helpful owners and I look forward to going again. Secondly stopped off at chesil beach ... Oh for the want of a kayak. Compared to the storm that was there a little while ago and the rough seas that was there the last time I was there. How pretty it was and I would of loved to have had a kayak to have just paddled about a bit The sea was so clear And had to take this pic,

Looking forward to this as I have only caught one bass last year and a pollock so far this one .... So let's hope I can add a mackerel and maybe a wellie boot to the list, god help nutty and hooky as I might be the lucky pixie (although a very big one) or maybe the bad penny ??? Who knows ? With hooky's help, teaching and expert knowledge let's see if I can catch on a lure ???? Right better get the shopping list sorted.... 1. Beer 2. Food 3. Sunglasses 4. Beer 5. Beer ... Lol

The guy I fish with at the haven hotel said the dinghy had a seagull out board ??. Cant say I'd even contemplate trying to go through the harbour entrance with an outboard less than 25 HP

Yes I'll second that tiddler it's made me think about lures a bit more to the point of buying a rovex ceratec rod, reel and I've added braid to my spool so let's see if I catch more £100 lighter in pocket and now need to see fish on the end of my rod. Massive thanks hooky and be intouch soon :0)

Wow thanks that was quick. Was so looking forward to meeting you all and putting faces to names. Paying my membership fees and learning a lot about boats, fishing and Poole harbour from you all.
