No rays on Neo either. Set off around 7 AM and heard Otter's problems.
Found trevor off the beachhuts and then spent around 45 mins - 1 hour attacking the rope wrapped around Otter's duoprop. This was not at all easy and if condition s had been lumpy would have been nigh on impossible.
My crewman James did a sterling job cutting away the rope around the prop and nearly ended up over the side once as well.
Still, all ended well when we saw Otter's props turning again and that is part of being in the club assisting others in need.
We needn't have worried about missing any fishing time, since it was dire.
We managed more dogfish than I could count plus a solitary starry smoothhound to James.
