    Gearbox

on the way back into portland saturday the engine started making some bad noises at low revs, the outcome so far boat at dealers with gearbox stripped out awaiting a decision from the importers reference warranty. this is not a good time of year for a fault due to there workload. due to this i am going to miss out on the early bream and the first comp. best of luck to those who fish sunday. cheers andy

  21. whilst collecting from coastal fishing supplies yesterday i got chatting to rod the proprietor and boat fishing secretary for west bay angling club about the lack of fishing for the last month due to the weather and other things, during our conversation he said that he was upgrading to a larger boat and his was for sale. if anybody is interested the full details are on the deepsea web site. i have seen the boat on its mooring at west bay and it certainly looks smart. boat name- miss grace. rod barr coastal fishing supplies 01308-427885 cheers andy

  24. well the waves lended themselves to surfing rather than fishing. after drifting in the large swell for half an hour we gave it best and went onto a drift inshore this produced one wrasse of about two pounds which was released. next move was to anchor up on some banks about two miles off swanage, this mark kept us busy with bream after bream it seemed more like the end of april rather than november, this is were johns lsd was caught. thank you to john (soleman) for crewing, well done on getting on the prize list. a big thank you to all involved with running an excellent competition. all the best, andy
  25. it looks like the new 550 will also be available with the full height 680 cabin in the new year. cheers andy
