  3. i think there is a post to say that the 360 was not good to bottom feed. on mine i am going to try putting a pipe from the top entry to the bottom with holes in it so as to circulate all the water . andy
  4. cheers for photos. adam if you find your boat is a lot better with tabs i wonder if this will enable you to change prop for extra speed ? if your engine is a 60 i have a 13 and 14 pitch prop you are welcome to borrow for test . cheers andy

  11. IF ANY BODY NEEDS TO TAKE RADIO TRAINING AND TEST I WOULD RECOMEND RT TRAINING DOWN AT UNIVERSAL MARINA. I TOOK MINE ON FRIDAY AND THE TRAINER (JOHN) WAS VERY HELPFULL AND INTERESTING. ANDY. PS PLENTY OF BOATS TO LOOK AROUND AT LUNCH TIME !

    ACCORDING TO THE NAUTICUS MANUAL ZINC ANNODE MUST BE FITTED TO TAB IF UNIT IS TO BE USED IN SALT WATER! ANDY
  17. thanks tom, back splice was what i should have said. monkeys fist is the knot used on a hauling line ! andy
  18. IF YOU BUY A CHAIN AND ROPE MADE UP THEY NORMALLY SPLICE IT USING WHAT I THINK THEY CALL A MONKEYS FIST RATHER THAN A LOOP SPLICE. BUT NOTE SURE OF REASON. CHEERS ANDY

    there was an article in one of the boat magazines asking people to send in photos that were six million pixels or more as any less meant poor quality . andy
  20. if you have to use a weight to slow drift what is the correct thing to do with the weight on your way back to start your next drift again ? ( only 18ft boat ) cheers andy
