The list is not any worse no. She is supposed to be double skinned as in laid up in construction (as I understand it) like the rodmans. No waste tank and water tank is dead centre of the deck ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers Mal, sound words. I am a little boosted by the fact that the weather has not been the best. What’s a TH deal btw? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On top of the fuel sludge problem, I also have a list forward and to starboard that I can’t figure out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Charlie, I have two companies coming next week to do full assessments and give quotes for the operation. Hopefully one of them will be acceptable but, I’ll hold on to that number just in case ! Neil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Having purchased a lovely new to me boat, I’m still to get out and go fishing . So far the vhf radio has packed up and been replaced. Engine has been serviced then developed an oil gasket leak. All the silicone in the deck has been cut out and removed as was leaking through in to the lazarettes . Wednesday I finally managed to find a window to go have a short blast, took a couple of mates and headed off. It was quite choppy so just ended up going for lunch in ocean village instead of cowes. All good on the way there but, half way home the engine dropped revs from 3200 to 2500 then down to 2200 with a WOT speed of just 10knotts . Oh flip I thought!! Turns out the choppy conditions had stirred up a load of sludge from the bottom of the tanks and blocked the filters. Glad it wasn’t anything more terminal but now I need to add having the tanks drained, cleaned and fuel polished to my expanding list of things to do!! Have not been fishing since mid December , really starting to become an annoyance. On the other hand the weather has not been brilliant and I’ve got a tan from holiday !! Thinking that this season is going to be a complete right off !!! [emoji3525] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, I have had a bit of a sort out and have two kids life jackets going spare if anyone can make use of them ? The yellow one is a crewsaver 150N performance lifejacket for kids between 15-30kg . And the red/orange is a crewsaver 100N for kids between 30-40kg. Both have whistles, safety harness buckled on the back and groin straps! A small donation to HOW. A woman from New York was driving through a remote part of Arizona when her car broke down. An American Indian on horseback came along and offered her a ride to a nearby town. She climbed up behind him on the horse and they rode off. The ride was uneventful, except that every few minutes the Indian would let out a 'Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a' so loud that it echoed throughout the surrounding hills and canyons. When they arrived in town, he let her off at a local towing service, yelled one final 'Ye-e-e-e-h-a-a-a-a!' and rode off. "What did you do to get that Indian so excited?" asked the service attendant. "Nothing," the woman answered. "I merely sat behind him on the horse, put my arms around his waist, and held onto the saddle horn so I wouldn't fall off." "Lady," the attendant said, "Indians don't use saddles." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The rain was pouring down. There standing in front of a big puddle outside the pub was an old Irishman, drenched, holding a stick, with a piece of string dangling in the water. A passer-by stopped and asked, "What are you doing?" "Fishing" replied the old man. Feeling sorry for the old man, the gent says, "Come in out of the rain and have a drink with me.” In the warmth of the pub, as they sip their whiskies, the gentleman, being a bit of a smart ass, cannot resist asking, "So how many have you caught today?” “You’re the eighth”, replied the old fisherman Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
