Yes sunday was a lovely day , forecast was good so I too decided to go out from Weymouth. Did my bit for the fish stocks by blanking but my main goal on the day was to work out a system of launching and retrieving on my own at the sailing academy in Portland and without getting my feet wet. HAPPY DAYS.

Hi Just found out its a Johnson 3hp standard shaft about 10 yrs old and only used a few times so in vgc. Price he wants is £250 .

I know of a little Johnson 2 stroke engine in vgc and had minimal use . Will get more details tonight and will let you know .

Can any one confirm that Portland marina is for sale and has been for a while now ? £12 mil i hear. Can think of better things to spend the money on.

Considering we all signed a contract at Portland and were promised boat launch within the hour we should all get a break on the fees. I recall originally the dry stack was to be under cover but that still hasn't happened too. Concerning the forklift they are really dragging their heels with no real explaination. Breach of contract comes to mind. Thankfully im getting out and moved a little closer today by digging out my rear garden and laying some stone ready to park my boat on..

I think I will leave the cover on and strap over it and good point Paul to strap the front down too. Us warrior owners just have to get used to the niggles like the puddle on the cover Matt as you know and also the bilge pump really could do with being sat lower so it pumps out all the water out of the petrol tank bay. I did mention this too Warrior while my boat was being built but they said it couldn't be done unfortunately.
