Happy birthday Lofty

Agread, it's totally painless to do

Happy Birthday Graham, trust you weren't working

You really don't have lady luck on your side Hooky. Re the fixing of windows, not sure on the foam thing I believe a lot of boat manufacturers glue the windows in place with a Sikaflex or Butyl type product and bolt as well.

The amounts you have read about would be used for safe overnighting. For a 14' boat fishing inshore I would suggest you have 5-6 metres of chain along with a 4/5 kilo anchor with 3 times depths of rope you intend fishing in should hold you just fine

What about a temporary marina berth? Parkstone Bay Marina, Cobbs Quay, Rockley Park

Wish I was employed, being the boss makes life difficult, have a great day

Hi Nick I believe you so have updated your forum status to club member
-
You certainly are Jim

Hi Nick and welcome to PBSBAC If you have any questions just ask away. Why not think about joining the club properly by becoming a fully paid up member? One of the main benefits of being a fully paid up member is the Club Only section of the forum. This would expand your reading 3 fold or more as most members converse in this area. Keep an eye on the boat buddy section of the forum. Members who are going out ask in here for company out. Going out on others boats would greatly speed up the learning curve giving you an expressway to learning the ins and outs of boat angling and boating Martin

Happy birthday Mick

Where?

Ray imo your best course of action would be as Neal (Tarlach) and Jim (Small Fry) say, keep the money and save. You can get your fishing fixes in the short term by hitching/crewing on other club boats. Obviously it's your call and boats are a very personal and emotive subject. Good luck with whatever you decide to do

Wooden hull = lots of work to maintain + it is 50% above your budget

The only fish worth reporting on Madness today were blonde rays Jim = 19lb 12oz I think, Jim will confirm Martin 16lb12 + 16lb both came up backward which made them bloomin hard work
