  1. I’ve done this and actually drove the car, I was advised to get as much diesel into the tank as possible and keep filling it up as the level drops, never had a problem and that car has now gone 450,000km, petrol into diesel is not good however !!

  2. Hi Guys,

     

    Can anyone one give me advice on how to deal with slooppy steering response, I think the fluid could be low or air in the system, is this topped via the access on top of the helm and do I have to bleed, and if so where from? as there is no  service manual for such things for this boat I'm a little unsure, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    More  questions im afraid, does the club have a deal or plan in place with a specific insurance company ??l if not, reconditions please, and what sort of ball park figures are people paying these days??

    What do you declare when not most of the time !!! Yes a little different than years gone by 33p a litre!!!

    Thanks  for getting in touch, all well this end thank you, same to all you guys nice to see your all still very active with the club, I'm looking at Arvor 25 today, with the idea of keeping on the river again, and using when back and  Debbie is baby sitting the grandchildren!!! And also of course being able to share with them, would appreciate any info as obviously things have changed a bit over the years. I'm sure I'll pop along to a meeting once I have things sorted.

We live very close to some here in Portugal on land, and I have to say they do seem very calming, they make very little noise and take up very little space, and we can actually sit on the steps of them without any problems, so im sure you will be able to navigate around them ok, ifthey will actually pay for themselves is a different matter.
