Fished this weekend with Dave Pitman, two Igloo boxes in the stern. He put a layer of ice in the bottom of both to keep mackerel fresh on Friday. Still frozen when we docked last night. Considering how hot it has been recently I am amazed. Gotta be good value. BB

Wouldnt bother with that chaps, you can buy tiny silicone float stops for a quid or so. They come on a wire loop, just pass line through the loop, pull the stop onto the line, job done. BB

Fishing on Friday in the Species league and was alongside when Wild Frontier came in. He was due to go wrecking but it blew up. Decided to go East as he had beginners on board. One of the guys was filleting some fish so i took a peak. Bugger me it was a Bream. Just the one caught but apparently one of the pot boys had some in a pot last week. Now that is early. Bodes well though for another good season. Already mackerel on Chesil. Just waiting for Spotties to arrive now
