we went out to rips on sunday very snotey on way out saw awol going like the the clapers ???????any way took us 2 hours to arrive at slack but tide soon started best drift was 2.4 knots and it started to die sea leveled out lovley day 30 cod to 4 rods 19 put back to small maneged avrage speed on way back much better than the 7-8 knots on way out swash channel down to about 5-6 knots depending on wave hight mind you wind over tide did not help but a very enjoyable day had by all dont know how other boats did but we counted about 20 boats drifting a few where pbsbac till next time

park in thisle hotel 4.00 all day board boat oppaset entrance to car park by the little fishing shop hut at steps hope this helps and good luck

took dauther fishing to day what a mistake ! out fished again ? lovly day all the same ,she had bream dogfish starryeyed smoth hound and a 4lb 6oz tub gurnared returned to fight another day pics to follow if i can down load them never seen such a big gurnared but what a fight on bream gear she loved it screeming all the way up

went out on wensday with some mates left at 9 30 lolvely sunny day moved to the east past the car park and found are mark so after putting pick in we were straight in to the bream stayed there all day even had bream on slack as well as pout and of corse dogs biggest going 3lb put lots back but some nice keepers back in at 5 30 good sport day

check in at shop in morning weigh in at baiter park with open air bar and hog roast there is expected to be 300 + entries good luck

i think water temp still to cold for bream needs to be magic 10 and then we will see
