mike60
Its a bit of a bind, but what can I do, we have a roady person moved in & has caused havoc over the last couple of months & the council have dug thier heels in, so if it has to go then this is the best way of giving a good deal on a boat that really is ready to go. I havn`t given up altogether though, there will still be the odd trip out, you never know, I might be able to scrounge a trip out with nige. Mike. Sinbad
Mike, You dont say what the leg and engine is, apart from the 8hp Yam, which I assume is auxilliary ? Hope you get a good sale quickly. Paul
Jim
Mike, I know how much time, effort, and money you have spent on your boat. Don't sell until you've exhausted every option. There must be someone somewhere that has room on their drive for it. Anyone in the club got room in return for trips out etc. Does anyone know anyone with room for a few quid or the odd bottle of something ? Maybe an old lady on her own would let you use her drive in return for a bit of garden maintainance or something. It's such a shame that we always suffer at the hands of " The something for nothing Brigade " Don't give up. Jim

TomBettle
I rent a house on what was a dairy farm, now arable. I have access to a very large cow shed that I could and would be pleased to store the boat in. At least until my landlord told me it needed shifting, but there is no reason they would ask us to move it unless we were taking the mickey. No charge apart from a nice bottle of red at Christmas and possibly the odd expense paid inshore bass trip! You would need to make sure she is insured and locked up with a spare key for the clamp / hitch lock at mine in case I needed to shift her for some obscure reason. Nice and quiet and apart from a few birds, cats and possibly a rat or two you shouldn't have any issues.
