Nice one Al!

Been a while coming but worth every minute I'll bet.

Wishing you long and happy hours on the tide.

Frisky is also around 6 tons, but we only have 28 bhp to play with; as soon as Manta Ray has kit on board, you must take the title of the "heaviest boat in the club".

An awesome craft, suitable for fishing anywhere in the Channel at almost all times.

Definitely an ultimate dream machine.

Hope you have as much fun with ownership as I have with my 6-tonner!

Thank's lads.........will post the video's of the sea trials soon...

Yes it was along time coming, but the design and development involved, being the first 11 m hull complete with Hydra- foils and a pair of 300 hp Yamaha outboard engines, was underestimated by us all. With the hull designer, foil designer along with the foil manufactures being in South Africa, didn't come without it's own challenges to.

Still the main thing she's here now and..............on Budget!! wink.gifbiggrin.gif ...but I did buy some extra toys from Simrad to play with... Surprising how quick that can add up to a few quid tongue.giftongue.gif

Just been reading the post about boat alarms...... and decided, after a chat with Charlie...it's a must have on Manta Ray... so off to find the kit..asap.

Hope to be sailing her around to local waters in about a weeks time, subject to the finalization of trials and correct prop selection.

At last I will be out fishing again soon....it's been a year since I sold Just Purfick and I've been like a duck out of water... sad.gifsad.gif

As a side to the security. I worked at Sunseekers for 10 years and made some good friends. One chap, a marine sparks,Tristan Cooper has gone on to specialise in marine security . His company is Dolphin Marine in Poole. I know your not really supposed to "advertise" on here but they fit some space age security on the big Sunseekers and if you mention me I'm sure he'd do you a good deal. Sorry if I've broken protocols but it's a serious matter so I'd give them a bell

Very impressive - she looks cracking, and well finished too.

Id love to see some pics of the interior fit out?

I also imagine alot of the charter skippers will be watching her with interest to see how the pair of V6 outboards perform in a working role.

How will you fuel her up in Alderney?
