not all correct terry - there were no pizza shops, but we did all eat as a family at home. bedrooms could be chilly places and heaven forbid if you wanted to use the phone (not that we were allowed) and the neighbours were already on the party line

loved it

Sorry about the pizza, should have put Wimpy Bar. And thanks for the 'phone addition.

Terry.

Bit more than 50<<<< no wimpy or piza shop, only Lyons tea house. Ate my fish and chips from news paper, no pretty little polythene containers to litter the countryside with. no car in the family just shankses pony or a battered old bike, but good times<< leave your front door open, your handbag was safe on your shoulder, a jam jar was the price of getting in to saturday morning pictures, crystal sets and accumulator powerd ''steam radio'' Trams and trolley buses with open stairs to the top deck, and so on, BUT GREAT TIMES, (as a child) Derek, smile.gifsmile.gifsad.gif
