Jim
Alas, It seems times are hard and there's no jobs out there so they have to steal to put food on the table. Perhaps a nice little swim with some dolphins will show them the error of their ways. Sorry for you Tomo. Jim

Rob
The problem here is the market for stolen goods. If the scrap dealers didnt buy all this "i found it", "it was in my garden when i moved in" metal - inc road signs etc. There would be no local market - then it would probably get shipped to the continent and sold there! Might be just the excuse to let some air out the Wife's tyres!

I thought they were tightening the law on scrap yards taking stuff (they know it's knocked off!!). A mate of mine had his taken from his VW van last week too, so its not just 4x4's. [if they steel 10 a night it would mean they would have to work for between 30 to 50 mins a night for about Edited September 17, 2012 by Tomo
