Coddy Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) I would like to thank Alan for the trip out Sunday. Managed to catch a Ray for the comp all 12ozs of an Undulate Ray! Note the sucker worm which had attached itself to the fish! Still a fish is a fish! Thanks again Alan for the trip. We had a good number of species on the boat during the day shame we could not add to Alan's impressive total. Dave Edited October 9, 2012 by Coddy Quote
nightingale300 Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 I was on Manta ray when the 28lb ray was caught by Jason Menzies, what a stonker and it totaly zonked Jason out, Looks like The Hyphose guys are hooked on boat fishing now as we all had a great day on Manta Ray. Quote
Jim Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Quote: Charlie: " an early start saw us motoring through the flat calm harbour at cruising speed [dont you love it when they take off the speed limits] " Yippeeeeeeee. The harbour speed limit is lifted again. Has anyone got a map with the different speed limits on it ? Holes Bay and past the Quay to the ferry port will still be 6mph I presume ? There are other areas where the speeds are limited too I believe. Jim Quote
Rob Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 Only lifted in main channel and possibly north channel - someone will confirm! R Quote
Maverick Martin Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 All quiet areas still 6 knots entrance still 10 knots. Main and Wareham channels whatever you like knots but watch your wash and drive with due consideration to others Martin Quote
