Martin I keep checking that before I start Martin , but still I can not suss out why some things work one time, and not at others. at the moment I opened website via Google Chrome, which appears to have it all working including both of Nigel's video's smileys still working this way Quote
Maverick Martin Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 I'm on ie9 and have no probs Quote
Coddy Posted February 23, 2013 Report Posted February 23, 2013 Charlie I had a similar problem but I carried out a Cache clean on our PC and it all seems to work ok I think the problems could be that our PC's remember what it was like on our last site visit, then Paul does some changes but the PC still thinks they are still there when there not. Once Paul has got most things running as he wants it should settle down and work each time you visit. This is at least my theory weather it is right or not I don't know but it seems to have worked for me. Dave Quote
Brian Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 Can we also have a 'mark all content as read' button like we had before? Seconded. Quote
Paul D Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 Seconded. The mark community read button at the bottom does this Quote
pirky Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Hi Paul .....one little feature that I found helpful was the arrow at the top rt of each post that was "return to top of page" Dave Quote
Paul D Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 The only thing I can see that is near to that is the "Page 1 2 " at the bottom which takes you to the top of the post. Quote
Brian Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Seconded. The mark community read button at the bottom does this thanks Paul Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk 2 Quote
Matt Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 Ok new one why does it revert to the mobile version after I have changed to the full site on my Ipod. It will let me change to the full version but after a few minutes of navigating the forum it reverts to the mobile version and wont switch back unless I close the window and open the site again? Maverick Martin Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Matt Paul will need to answer this one as I haven't got a clue, hopefully he will see this Martin Quote
Paul D Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Been checking your profile matt and I can't see anything obvious there. I don't get the same issue on the iPod. It should only change if you select the "use mobile version" button. S puzzling for me to be hoest Quote
Matt Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Thanks for looking- i now think it is because im on an ipod that is four years old and never updated. Quote
charlieannear Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Was just looking for the threads which I did which were the forum version of my monthly Conservation Officer's Report, but they don't seem to have come across from the old site? I'd be very grateful if they could be moved across to this version of the forum as they took me quite a while to do... I wanted to copy the format for consistency, so I'd like to be able to look at last month's so I can do this month's, please. Quote
