Kingfisher 126 Posted March 29, 2013 Report Posted March 29, 2013 The name of the club would have to change if we started fitting them!!! Struggle to get one in anything under 35 feet. Quote
great white Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Amazing Uses more fuel than Manta Ray Love the fact the last one runs at WOT at 102 RPM. no need for a reduction box on that then. niggle 1 Quote
Jim Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 That's the company I work for. It used to be Hamworthy Water Systems at Fleetsbridge. But Wartsila bought us last year. I'm not involved with the engines though. I'm in the design office, creating 3D models of water treatment plants and then the production drawings and parts lists etc. I was looking at some pictures of these engines the other day and nearly posted some on here for some of our bigger boats Amazing things though ! aikidojohn Posted March 30, 2013 Report Posted March 30, 2013 Each time you press the start you would need to drill another oil well, or I would have fitted it to my kayak. AJ Quote
